ABOUT THE ARTIST

Tyler Pierson received his Masters of Fine Arts at the University of North Dakota. He has worked as an instructor, research assistant, curator, and assistant gallery director. Currently he is teaching at Central Methodist University as the Adjunct Professor of Art and the Curator for the Ashby Hodge Gallery of American Art!

He works as a figural narrative artist primarily within charcoal, acrylic, and ink on paper. His work highlights meaningful messages and symbolism through allegorical interpretations.
