CURATOR FOR THE ASHBY HODGE GALLERY OF AMERICAN ART
Central Methodist University
Responsible for the day to day operations of the Gallery, hanging shows across 3 galleries, sustaining social media accounts, & maintaining a collection of 1,200 works of Art. Oversaw a docent program of 20 volunteers, 2 student workers, & a gallery board of 15 members. Worked with multiple departments across campus to promote & prepare future exhibitions. Sought out & prepared future shows via connections with artists & trustees. The Ashby-Hodge Exhibited 3 professional shows each year, including maintaining a living art museum across the campus of Central Methodist University. This includes new works exhibited in every major building, as well as a growing digital collection on JSTOR.

Teaching introduction to Painting, Drawing, & Design classes to students of a variety of different majors and year classifications. Preparation & implementation of curriculum that seeks to grow students’ problem solving & creative skill sets.

30 credits of drawing as an emphasis with 12 credits of art history & 15 credits of painting. Created roughly 300 works of art across the mediums of charcoal, graphite, acrylic paint, ink, marker, & watercolor paint. Developed a prominence on figure drawing & narrative, with an exploration into the nature of allegories and symbolism.

Passageway Gallery, Old Market District, Omaha NE
Member of the artist co-op in Omaha's old market district. Works are on constant display and for sale along with selected prints, new shows are hung every 3 months. Collective co owns the gallery among all 16 artists and take turns selling work & running the day-to-day operations and sales of the gallery.
